How accurate are your conversions? Our conversion factors are based on widely accepted archaeological and historical standards. The Standard Cubit uses 18 inches (1.5 feet), the Egyptian Royal Cubit uses 20.6 inches (1.72 feet), the Roman Cubitus uses 17.7 inches (1.48 feet), and the Hebrew Amah uses 18 inches (1.5 feet).
Can I suggest a new cubit type? Absolutely! If you know of a historical cubit variant that we have not yet included, please describe it in your message along with any academic references. We are always looking to expand our coverage of ancient measurement systems.
Do you offer an API? We do not currently offer a public API, but if you have a specific integration need, please reach out and we will do our best to help.
